As part of my 22 for 22 list, I decided that I wanted to donate a small amount of money to a worthwhile cause each month. I’m not talking $100 by any stretch of the imagination (it’d be nice to have that much money to be honest), more like $5 a month – sort of $1 a week. For the month of September, I decided to donate to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on World Rhino Day, no less. A charity that works to conserve the planet, habitats and species, WWF is unbelievably important at a time when all of these are facing so many problems and issues. Their six major goals are focused around the planet’s forests, oceans, wildlife, food, climate & energy and water.
While my $5 might not be the biggest donation they’ve ever received, I live in hope that it’ll play a part in making the world a better place.
Which charities should I check out for my next donation? Leave me some suggestions in the comments!
