Creating a dream closet space (with MakeSpace) – Blogmas Day 19

Despite the fact that I’ve been on a capsule wardrobe hype for the past year, I’m always thinking about what my dream closet space would look like. MakeSpace, a storage solutions company who could totally store all the summer clothing you don’t use in winter, or vice versa (here‘s a link to their locations), got me thinking about my dream closet space & I thought I’d put all of my thoughts down in a blog post. I’ve gotten pretty extravagant with my dream space, to be honest and I’m looking forward to the day where I have enough money to buy a place with a closet like this..!

While I want extravagant, I kind of want minimal too..I think the two can actually work together quite well. Looks flashy, but is actually super practical and useful. Super clean – white walls, hints of metal from the rails and hangers.

I want sleek-looking materials that help to hide everything else (undies, shoes, pjs) away.

I want somewhere to sit and do my makeup – somewhere comfy, but pretty. Somewhere to store my makeup that’s not just a makeup bag.

I’ll need a full length mirror to let me see how the outfit is turning out. Somewhere to store all 1,000,000 accessories that I own (they help it to not look like I’m wearing the same outfit for the 4th time that week even though I actually am..).

As for room accessories..? I want a couch to lounge on when I’m getting bored. I want a colorful rug to not make all the white feel quite so clinical. I want fresh flowers everywhere

I WANT IT ALL.
