Dressing Room Dreams (with Arhaus)

Though I’m the proud owner of a capsule wardrobe, there’s no denying that I’d be all over the chance to have a personal dressing room/space (when I get a house big enough..). I’ve teamed up with Arhaus, a company that designs unique and high-quality furniture, to bring you (and me) some inspiration.

Dressing Room

Let’s start with the basics. I’m going to need somewhere to store my clothes, right? I don’t really own that many clothes, and most of what I do own can be folded away (glamorous, I know). For that reason, I’d probably go for a four drawer dresser (be sure to check out Arhaus’ huge selectionΒ here). I find that I’m more drawn to lighter wood washes/effects, so this Celeste style (which is crafted from tulip wood) is perfect for me.Β

Next up, a mirror. After all, I need to see how I’m looking. A full length mirror would be ideal in my dressing room, especially the Felicity style that Arhaus offer. I especially love the gold detailing around the edge.Β

In terms of lighting, I feel as though I’d probably go for recessed lighting, so that the light fixtures aren’t going into the room. However, I also know that I’d want a statement piece, and I’m particularly taken with Arhaus’ Laila Chandelier. It’s Moroccan inspired, and the hints of copper mean it’ll add a warm glow to the space.

Finally, we need some decor –Β rugs and wall art, to be precise. I love the selection of wall art that Arhaus have to offer, but am especially drawn to their prints of Paris (there are images of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc du Triomphe, as well as a map of the city). Tying everything up quite neatly is this grey Moroccan rug that just looks as though it’d be heavenly to squish your feet into!

What would your dream dressing room look like? Be sure to let me know in the comments! In the meantime, make sure you check out Arhaus for some serious inspiration.
