Current TV Picks

Fall is the perfect time to curl up with a blanket on the couch and binge-watch some TV. Here are my current top picks on Netflix, Hulu, and more for this season…

Fresh Meat – Follows a bunch of six students throughout their university experience from day one right up until graduation. Worryingly relatable to most who’ve been to university…

Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father – A pseudo-travel documentary with Jack Whitehall and his 70-something father. The pair trek through parts of Asia, so Jack can finally get his gap-yah. Jack’s father is, quite frankly, having none of it.

Please Like Me – An Australian comedy drama that follows Josh, his friends, and his housemates trying to navigate their twenties. Laugh-a-minute, but delves into some more serious topics, too.

Friday Night Dinner – British comedy that focuses around a Jewish family’s Friday night dinner. I honestly snort with laughter at least once an episode – some of the situations are just unimaginable, kudos to the writers!

Drifters – Follows the story of three friends navigating life after uni/their twenties (I’m spotting a bit of a theme here…). Worth a look if you were into The Inbetweeners…

Other current favorites include Friends (duh), White Gold, and Hart of Dixie. What are you guys watching at the moment? Be sure to let me know below – I’m always looking for new ways to procrastinate!
